I've been working on glazing pieces with some different combinations lately. I just posted some of my favorites that came out of my combo mambo tile testing. I never know how something is going to turn out when I do this, so it's always exciting to layer glazes in ways I haven't tried before. For all the duds that result, it's worth it for the few great combinations that I discover.
I've been trying to come up with some glazes using darker color combinations like dark green, rust, brown and black.
Here are a few of my recent favorites. All of these items are posted in my Etsy shop.
Black, blue and brownish black
Metallic black over brown black.
Green and rust.
